Cast Creating This Emotional Journey

Lee Jun-ho plays Kang Tae-poong to great acclaim in fans and critics alike, with both audiences and reviewers hailing his performance as flawless. His expressive facial expressions and eyes take us on his emotional journey through highs and lows; writer Jang Hyun has even given Lee Jun-ho special praise for portraying this role of “nation’s son, partner the CEO, and boyfriend”. A great feat indeed! This tribute from writer Jang Hyun truly marks an accomplishment worth being paid!

Kim Min-ha plays Oh Mi-seon as the eldest daughter with family responsibilities to shoulder. Kim Min-ha adeptly portrays this role with ease, seamlessly fitting in with the other cast members despite challenges they might face during times of distress. Her character stands as a symbolic representation of all Korean women who held families together during those turbulent years.

Kim Min-seok plays Wang Nam-mo, Tae-poong’s trustworthy best friend. When dealing with difficult moments as a CEO, having someone like Nam-mo can provide welcome comic relief!

Sung Dong-il plays Kang Ji-yeong, Taepoong’s father and Typhoon Company founder; although no longer alive, his decisions still influence decisions made. Kim Ji-young plays Jung Jeong-mi who was instrumental in shaping Taepoong into who he is today despite having different parents than Sung Dong-il! Their relationship has led to ongoing conflicts.
