The actor died on November 26, 2025, following a tragic fall off his rooftop in São Paulo. Former Netflix and Nickelodeon actor was inspecting the progress of his parents ‘ house when he fell off his feet and suffered fatal injuries. How Did the Tragic Fall Occur?
Family accounts indicate that Tony was on the roof to check on the progress of construction on the house he grew up in. Marchett was later quoted as describing Tony as “one of the finest,” and dedicated an actor in his movie to the memory of the late actor.
A veteran of the stage, Miguel Falabella, paid tribute with an emotional message in Portuguese, noting that Tony “takes his last bow to be greeted with a roar of praise” from his fellow actors. Tony was praised as a beloved friend and a professional of the highest calibre.
The voice actress Maria Lopes remembered Tony as “one of the most generous souls” she’s ever had the pleasure of working with, a statement that instantly triggered hundreds of emotional responses from her fans. Star actor Jarbas Homem de Mello’s message was brief and easy to understand: “Many applause for you .”
