Jeon Yeobeen’s performance as Kim Yeong Ran was truly riveting for viewers from its debut through to its finale, keeping them riveted to every episode of Season 12. Now comes the question: when will season two air?
Ms. Incognito’s Success Story and Ratings Information
Nielsen Korea revealed that the finale scored an astounding 7.1 percent of viewers across Korea for average viewership across all episodes, up 0.8 percent from Episode 11. Typically, K-drama finals see their viewership reduce, but Ms. Incognito defied all expectations yet again!
On September 29, 2025, the debut episode premiered to 2.4 percent ratings and rose steadily through episodes 5-9, with ratings peaking at 5.9 percent for episode 5. Subsequent episodes 7 and 8 maintained steady ratings at 5.6 percent, further evidence that viewers enjoyed the plot. Although episode 10 dropped to 5.1 percent ratings at first, its ratings soon rebounded!
Incognito premiered every Monday and Tuesday night from 10:00 pm KST until 10:10 pm on ENA, with international viewers able to stream it using subtitles on Viki. Each of its 12 episodes lasted 70 minutes, for 14 hours of breathtaking entertainment!
MyDramaList users gave it an average 7.7 rating out of 10, making its debut a huge success! Five cast members made the list of the top ten topics during the broadcast.
The Story That Captured Hearts
Ms. Incognito was Kim Yeong-ran’s bodyguard during a time of distress and dreamed of her private room. She is the bride-to-be of dying chaebol chairman Ga Seong-ho, and after his death, she will have to live for three months while family members try to locate her.
Yeong-ran disguises herself as Kindergarten Teacher Bu Se-mi from Muchang Village with the goal of escaping her family until Seong-ho inherits their fortune. But something goes wrong! Jeon Dong-min, an avid strawberry farmer, has become baffled by ‘Bu Se-mi’s unreliability in her background role.
The ending was satisfyingly wrapped up. Yeong-ran provided full disclosure of Seon-yeong’s crimes; she admitted killing Sung-ho, but her confession was captured on video, while the justice system allowed Ye-rim’s murderer to go free, thus ending their group feud altogether.
Yeong-ran asked Dong-min to live with him, promising to protect her for her entire lifetime. This open-ended ending created room for interpretation – did they get their happily ever after? People want to know!
Cast and Creative Team Behind Ms. Incognito
Jeon Yeo-been shines as one of the stars of Kim Yeong-ran/Bu S-mi. In it, she gave one of her finest performances to date as she seamlessly switched roles between being her tough bodyguard and nervous teacher. At the conclusion of filming, she expressed her thanks and gratitude towards all those involved: “I would like to express my sincerest thanks and gratitude towards all actors, staff members, and viewers for contributing their talent during all 12 episodes.
Jinyoung was one of Jeon Dong-min’s characters who instantly captured viewers’ hearts; it was his relationship with Jeon Yeo-been that truly resonated. Fans loved them from episode 1, as their slow-burning romance delighted viewers to its core.
Jang Yoon-ju portrayed Ga Seon-yeong, an antagonist infamously hated by audiences everywhere! Joo Hyun-young played Baek Hye-ji, an unpredictable companion, while Seo Hyun-woo played Lee Don, the mysterious lawyer.
Park Yoo-young was the director, and Hyun Kyu-ri composed the script; together, they collaborated on suspenseful storytelling! Kross Pictures and Trii Studio worked under the request of KT Studio Genie to produce the film; filming took place between October 2024 and March 2025.
Will There Be Ms. Incognito Season 2?
ENA has not announced its renewal plans in writing yet, but fans eagerly anticipate season 2. Dong-min and Yeongran parted ways on amicable terms, which creates room for more to happen in future episodes – not accidentally; instead, the writers intentionally left this path open so there could be further developments later.
Rating success is a compelling argument for renewal opportunities; 7.1% finale ratings attest to audience investment! Television networks prize shows with satisfying endings that allow story expansion; Dong-min and Yeong-ran may well find their story continue onward.
Jeon Yeo-been enjoyed great success during her campaign and is expected to reprise her role for season two. Jinyoung may present more challenges as his acting career and GOT7 commitments keep him occupied!
People have many questions regarding Yeong-ran’s inheritance. Was she able to keep the cash? How did her Ga family react, as well as that of Dong-min’s son Ju-won? These issues demand investigation!
