Ms. Incognito Episode 4 Preview

Ms. Incognito Episode 4 Preview

I just got done watching the preview for Ms Incognito episode 4 and I had to come here right away and discuss it. My hands are shaking typing this because what I just witnessed is having me totally spinning.

This show has kept us on our toes since day one, but this preview? It’s all “all hell breaks loose” and I’m here for every second of it.

Quick Recap of Previous Episode

Let me bring you up to speed real quick in case you missed something. Episode 1 brought us our main character who’s essentially leading this double life – normal person by day, brooding mystery person by night. Timeless setup but they pulled it off.

Episode 2 surprised us with her secret almost being revealed. That rooftop chase was making me sweat. Then episode 3 came along and her past caught up to her. Not just anyone either – someone who knows who she is.

The tension’s been growing consistently and now we’re at episode 4. According to this preview, all that tension is going to snap like a rubber band that’s been stretched too tight.

What The Preview Is Showing Us

The trailer begins with her in front of a mirror, but she’s totally different. Hair’s been changed, clothes are not the same, even her stance feels weird. Then there’s this voiceover going on about “becoming someone else entirely” and my mind just totally went into overdrive.

There is a brief flash of what appears to be a confrontation. Two individuals standing toe to toe and you can cut the tension with a knife. All the camera work is shaky and in close-up, so it feels intensely personal.

Then – and this is where I really gasped – there’s a glimpse of someone holding what appear to be photographs. Can’t quite make out but it looks like proof of something. Her dual life perhaps? Someone’s certainly on to her.

The action scenes here in this preview are crazy. There’s shattering glass, running, some sort of pursuit through what appears to be a vacant building. Production quality appears much, much better than any other episode, leading me to believe that this is where the series really takes off.

Ms. Incognito Episode 4 Spoilers and What’s Coming

From what I’m reading, episode 4 is where the two worlds of hers finally collide. No more separating them. In the preview, she’s on the phone to someone and says “I can’t keep doing this” which. uh-huh, that is not good.

There’s surely going to be a betrayal of some sort. One of the pictures captures her looking completely shattered, gazing at someone off-screen. Guess what? Someone she trusted is betraying her. Old trick but if executed well, it lands every single time.

The episode 3 villain is back and they’re more menacing than ever. There’s this brief shot of them grinning in this horribly creepy way that sent shivers down my spine. Whatever scheme they’ve concocted, it’s bad news for our heroine.

I’m also hoping we might actually find out some things about her history. The preview suggests a flashback sequence – alternate color grading, younger character versions. About time really, we’ve been waiting for history since episode one.

Character Highlights

Our lead character is definitely living it in this episode. The preview displays so many various emotions crossing her face – fear, anger, resolve, sadness. The actress is selling it big time.

Her friend from Ms. Incognito episode 2 appears once again and they’re arguing about something. Their friendship has been one of the highlights of the show so I truly hope that they don’t ruin that. Although knowing this show, they’ll probably just do it to spite us.

There is a new character in the preview, and they only show up briefly. Don’t know if they’re good or bad yet but they have this sort of enigmatic vibe that makes me leery. No one just shows up uninvited in this program without stirring up some sort of trouble.

The villain is receiving more screen time apparently, which I’m actually looking forward to. They have been hiding in the background mostly, but this teaser presents them in the foreground, where they look extremely pleased with themselves. Whatever they have cooked up, it’s falling into place.

Best Moments From The Preview

That moment when she’s taking off her disguise in front of the mirror? Chills. The symbolism of giving up one self to show another – or perhaps losing both? Chef’s kiss cinematography right there.

There is literally a one-second scene where a hand smashes down on a table in the middle of what appears to be a raised argument. Such a tiny thing but it’s gonna tell you the whole thing about how heated that conversation is going to be.

The sequence of action through the deserted building is just amazing. The utilization of shadows and low lighting in such a manner that it is giving this real claustrophobic effect. You can feel the panic through the screen itself.

My favorite part is definitely this shot of her running away from an explosion in slow motion. Sounds corny when I say it, but the way they shot it makes it actually look cool rather than cheesy. The lighting, the shot, the look on her face – all of it just works.

And that last shot before the preview fades out? Her walking alone in the rain, gazing upwards at something we cannot see, with this look that’s just. shattered. That picture is going to haunt me until episode 4 drops.

The Cliffhanger We’re Walking Into

Episode 3 culminated with that huge revelation that her real identity was breached. Someone found out her secret and they have no qualms using it against her. The teaser indicates episode 4 resumes where that bombshell left off.

What’s killing me is we don’t know who leaked the information. Was it an accident? Intentional? Is there a mole within her inner circle? The preview doesn’t provide us with any definite answers, only more questions.

From the final seconds of the preview, I believe episode 4 is going to have an even greater cliffhanger. There’s one scene that appears as though someone’s going to be making a huge sacrifice or choice. The sort that redefines everything from then on.

My guess? Ms. Incognito Episode 4 concludes with her being forced to decide between saving herself or a person she’s concerned for. This show enjoys putting characters in no-win situations, and that sounds just like the kind of thing they’d do.

How the preview is cut makes it look like trust is going to be a big thing. Who can she trust? Who’s been deceiving her? These are probably going to be the things that run the whole episode and I’m excited and scared to discover the answers.

Where to Watch

Ms Incognito is available to stream on the big platforms based on where you are. New episodes release every week, so stay tuned for episode 4’s drop. Get episodes 1-3 caught up first because this show doesn’t play around with recaps – you have to be in the know about what went down beforehand or you’ll be lost.
