Moon River Official Trailer Breakdown - Cast, Plot, and Release Date
Moon River just dropped its official trailer, and I am absolutely speechless! This historical fantasy film is absolutely incredible from start to finish. Kang Tae Oh and Kim Se Jeong star in this romantic fantasy about a crown prince who has lost his smile and a businessperson who has lost his memory; soul swapping provides an intriguing twist, and their apparent relationship is evident from this trailer alone. Additionally, Joseon-era cinematography makes Moon River visually impressive while simultaneously promising palace-level romance and intrigue in equal measure—definitely something not many films deliver!
What We Know about Moon River So Far
Moon River will debut on MBC TV on October 31st, 2025, and air every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 pm KST for 14 episodes, each spanning 60 minutes. King Prince Yi Kang and merchant Park Dal Yi become mysteriously linked together and must lead lives that parallel each other. The situation becomes further complicated due to palace political intrigues. At the center of it all lies Kim Han Cheol, a seductive Left State Councilor hoping to retake control of the Royal Court.
Both characters must adjust their lives in different ways in response to past trauma: Lee Kang lost hope after tragically losing his queen and seeks vengeance, while Park Dal Yi is confused and cannot remember anything from her past life.
